My name is Carissa(Ca-ree-sa) I am the Daughter of the King, wife to Eric, Mom to five beautiful children, and an avid soapmaker. The artist inside of me went undiscovered until the birth of my twins in 2008 and then one thing led to another. I love being creative whether making soap or making a card. I truly love working with my hands. I am a Texas girl currently living in Illinois farm country. I enjoy many things like stamping(DUH!), jewelry making, gardening, baking, photography, and coffee(can't forget the coffee). I love all things New Kids on the Block especially Joey and still watch reruns of Little House on the Prairie. My Stamping Story:
I began my soap shop, Stone Street Soaps, in the Summer of 2009 and was looking for ways to make the product packaging have a special touch. I first started to use scrapbook paper to create soap wraps then one wrap led to making some tags and rolled into other creative projects. I joined a Stamping company associated with direct sales as a hobby demo and quickly fell in love with stamping and especially making cards and tags.
A|Muse entered my life as we left for a trip to Texas. I had the latest Paper Craft magazine in hand and saw an A|Muse advertisement and just had to check it out. Needless to say when I returned home I turned my resignation in to the other company and joined A|Muse. I fell in love with the products on the website and although I had never tried the brand before I took a chance and do not regret that decision at ALL! I love A|Muse Studio.
