I'm in love

I must say I don't know why we didn't make a craft room in the house sooner. I love love LOVE having my own space to create whether it be soap or cards or whatever! I received another shipment of A|Muse goodies and spent a few hours just creating.

I love the pattern on my daughters shorts and they were the inspiration behind this card. I used the Swanky Background set stamp a long with Tini Time Stamp set for the diamonds in the middle. Watermelon, Buttercup, and Ocean Ink. The sentiment stamp is from the Friend to Friend stamp set.

Thursday Eye Candy

Again with the Oh La La set. The Cycle and Eiffel tower are embossed with CTMH embossing powders. I also used the Sunflower stamp to stamp in sky ink on a canvas button.

What happens in the craft room

I left my craft room door unlocked the other day needless to say someone but I won't name names had a fun time getting into my embossing powders and glitters. Thankfully all of Stone Street Soaps goodies are locked away and aren't as visually appealing.

Oh la la

This is one of my favorite cards so far. It is from the stamp set Oh La La. It's just so simple and cute. I love the purple heart and sentiment. Purple is my favorite color! I just need to get use to using pigment ink, it is a first for me and it seems to take longer to dry than I am use to and I ALWAYS get ink everywhere!

Stamps: Oh La La (A|Muse Studio)
Cardstock: Latte, Bermuda (A|Muse)
Ink: French Roast, Heather
Tools: Fiskars corner punch
Extras: Ribbon(Stampin Up)

Just a Note

Friend

I used four stamps that came with my A|Muse Studio Kit and used a collage technique which was a challenge on Splitcoast Stampers them to create a center piece. I am thinking this technique would be good to create a set of notecards without a sentiment. Hmmmm might have to try that this week!

Fruit, Veggie, What is it really?

Yesterday we finally picked some tomatoes! We wait very patiently for our tomatoes because they are a family favorite. Our tomatoes are doing awesome this year, I've actually been tempted to pick some green ones for fried green 'maters. What can I say it's the southern girl coming out.

The local farm where we get our peaches and blackberries just sent out an email letting us know it was time to pick so I think we will load the kids up and head over this weekend. There is nothing like fresh peaches!

Just a Note

This card was designed with my younger sister Sarah in mind. She loves orange so much she had the color in her wedding this past June. This weekend her and her new hubby take off for their new home all away across the world in South Korea.

A*muse Studio

I recently turned in my Stampin Up resignation to join A*muse Studio as I think their product style fits me better. My Kit is on the way and I can't wait to get started.
But for now take a look at my A*muse website
